Ron Burgundy's Game Notes
This was a tale of two games, we started off great, then gave up a five run lead.
I have to question our manager in leaving Cla Meredith out there for the 10th after giving up the lead in the 9th.
Another great start from Shawn Hill, every time he comes on the mound we can count on him going deep.
Kevin Kouzmanoff is starting to heat up, we definitely could use some production from other people.
In Edgar V. Gonzalez's first game in the lineup he makes us look good with a 2 RBI performance.

INJURY
Injury news came in early this morning. It appears Luke Gregerson was flipping through channels last night at the hotel room and somehow ended up with a fractured finger. I don't even want to know what was going on there. We placed him on the 15-day DL, he should be good to come back right after those 15 games. So far this season Gregerson has a 1-0 record with a 3.00 ERA and 5 strikeouts in 6 appearances.
To make up for the loss of Gregerson righty Edwin Moreno was called up from AAA. In 11 appearances in AAA Moreno is 0-0 with 1 save, a 2.51 ERA and 18 strikeouts. This strikeout artist is looking to carry over his impressive season to the majors and give the Padres a solid arm to carry them to victories while Gregerson is out hurt.
