DLC and "Action Figures"

I did a couple of polls on various sites and found out that most gamers don't buy DLC because it doesn't have anything unique about it and sets it apart from the rest of the game.

This blog is talking about games like the Fight Night series. The boxers have nothing unique about them. They don't have any tendencies, abilities, or styles that replicates the boxers they are suppose to be.

Fans want something that really adds to their game and playing experience, not something stuck on the same model with a different name and saying it's something totally different.

DLC will sell if it's unique and adds noticeably to the gameplay.
