The NBA Finals began this week, featuring the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat (read more below). The Stanley Cup Payoffs have gotten down to the Conference Finals, so let's get right to counting down this week's list.

The NBA Playoffs are reaching their climax, which means that every game is worthy of making this list. Congratulations to the Spurs for advancing to the NBA Finals. The Heat and Pacers are right behind them, playing a very entertaining series so far.
Meanwhile, there are countless MLB extra inning or walk offs each night, so it has to be something special to make this list. Let's take a look and give an update on

This week's top story lines include the NBA Conference Finals (see more below) and the Cleveland Indians walking off three times in a 4 game stretch. As the NBA and Stanley Cup playoffs start to wind down, I will try to get at least one game from those leagues included in my lists each week. When the playoffs are done, I will switch to primarily covering baseball games. The schedule for my summer blog is not certain yet. We will cross that path when we get there. Anyway, here is this week's list.

From a miraculous finish to a surprise from a soldier returning home (both of those games will be in this list), this week was the hardest I have had to choose from. Let's take a look, shall we?

This week in sports was full of great highlights from the NBA Playoffs, MLB, and NHL. We could spend our time looking at highlights, or just recap the 5 most exciting games.
