This is more important than you might think because believe it or not, I have correctly guessed the last two Super Bowl matchups and winners. Using the same method by which I have used the last two years, I will come up with this year's pick for the big game, but first go through the divisions and show you records for every team including wins and losses. We'll start with a division that is near and dear to my heart, the AFC East.

With 2014 fast approaching, I have decided to ring in the new year with some new and exciting things in my blog. First, I will be starting an Association with the Oklahoma City Thunder in NBA 2k14 for XBOX 360. Thanks goes out to LopaKa for making the really great banner that I will use in that dynasty. I'm still deciding whether or not to update it in the dynasty forum or the dynasty blog area.
Secondly, I will be starting an op-ed of sorts, providing my opinions on popular and ... Read More

Football is back, and those games, both college and NFL, will be picked without any restrictions at all. So let's get started with a brand new addition of Games of the Week:
5. August 31: Arizona Diamondbacks 4, San Francisco Giants 3

I'm posting an early addition of my blog this week. I'm not sure when I will be able to post it tomorrow, so I'm posting it tonight.
With most of the press locked in on the US Open, let's recognize the other 5 biggest sporting events of the week. We have 70 innings of baseball, 112 minutes of hockey, and 144 minutes of basketball.

The NBA Playoffs are reaching their climax, which means that every game is worthy of making this list. Congratulations to the Spurs for advancing to the NBA Finals. The Heat and Pacers are right behind them, playing a very entertaining series so far.
Meanwhile, there are countless MLB extra inning or walk offs each night, so it has to be something special to make this list. Let's take a look and give an update on

This week's top story lines include the NBA Conference Finals (see more below) and the Cleveland Indians walking off three times in a 4 game stretch. As the NBA and Stanley Cup playoffs start to wind down, I will try to get at least one game from those leagues included in my lists each week. When the playoffs are done, I will switch to primarily covering baseball games. The schedule for my summer blog is not certain yet. We will cross that path when we get there. Anyway, here is this week's list.

From two blown calls in baseball to overtime hockey games every night, there is a lot of things to talk about this week. I want to start by telling you how I determine these games. It's not just every overtime game. It's an overtime game or a close game that involved a comeback or was back and forth between the two teams and close all the way. I can't include every Stanley Cup Playoff game that went ... Read More

This week in sports was full of great highlights from the NBA Playoffs, MLB, and NHL. We could spend our time looking at highlights, or just recap the 5 most exciting games. But before we do, I want to give an honorable mention to an event that I would have included, but couldn't because it was not in this time frame.
