I have started a Dallas Mavericks build mainly because of Vince Carter. I have edited Carter to be like in his prime. So he is the star of the team.
I'm in my 3rd season so a lot of changes happened, but here is my build so far. Let me know what you guys think



Starting Lineup

PG - Jeremy Lin

SG - Tracy McGrady / Vince Carter

SF - Vince Carter / Tracy McGrady

PF - Dirk Nowitzki - in his last season

C - Tyson Chandler

Subs

PG - Delonte West - Role Player

SG - Carlos Delfino - Role Player / Jared Cunningham - Bench Warmer

SF/PF - Danny Granger - Sixth Man

PF - Elton Brand

C - Bernard James / Miles Plumlee

I acquired Lin in a trade because Collison felt like he needed a change and I didn't think he was that much of a case even though I like him so I went and acquired Delfino and Lin from Houston for Collison and OJ Mayo.

Tracy was signed as a free agent.

As for Danny Granger he is the newest addition. Granger felt like he wanted a change (NBA.com) and I new that I will need a replacement for Dirk after I finally get to the playoffs so I acquired him by giving Shawn Marion, Jae Crowder, Rodrigue Beaubois and first round pick for him.

Chandler is a Center I had to have. I got mad last season because I felt like we lost the conference finals because of him so I traded him and Dominique Jones for Tyson Chandler.

When Dirk retires I'm actually planning to release Danny Granger and trade him for Josh Smith. Waiving Tyson Chandler signing Chris "The Birdman" Anderson. Trading either trading Lin for Isaiah Thomas or Damian Lillard.

I have traded Delonte West for Eric Bledsoe because I didn't feel like he was a good fit for the team. Eric seems like he is better at his back-up role than West.

My new problem is that I can't trade Tyson Chandler well. He worth 13M$. I wanted to acquire Jason Kidd and JR Smith for a sweet back-up. Waive or trade Chandler move Nowitzki up to Center. Get Granger to Forward. I was even thinking about trading Lin, but I like the kid too much.
