"I still got in, or will..."
Lakers vs Spurs
Tim Duncan is living his second prime. That's a fact. Nothing can change my opinion on this. Sometimes a couple years ago I said, that he has like 2 years left and he is out. Damn I was wrong, but how wrong I was a didn't know. Duncan is still the calmest and most precise player in San Antonio and add Danny Green to the mix and you have a more than good formula. Finally Tony Parker showed something of himself from last season and playoffs as he scored 19 and gave 7 assists. #9 managed 8 to 18 from the field. The reason I highlight Parker is because I didn't do much recently and I'd like to think he is still one of the best players in the league. Manu coming off the bench didn't do much, but there was Duncan to score like only he can. 18 points and 9 rebounds for Tim. I liked what I saw as the Spurs made LA miss huge clutch plays. Even though there were some nice moves, overall the Lakers's loss isn't due to any coaching stuff, it's all thanks to San Antonio defense squad. I never believed in their success with the new forces on the team. I don't believe they can run for the championship, I think there much better, stronger and better rounded teams out in the West than LA. Thunder, Spurs, Grizzlies and I even consider the Nuggets to be ahead of the yellow-purple at the end of the season. I do not hate the Lakers or anything like that, but I didn't like that overconfidence they had before they even started the preseason. So yeah somewhat I thought, this wouldn't work. I like dunks, I like alley-oops, but who cares about those if it's not effective in the end. I mean Pau Gasol taking a traffic 3 pointer in a clutch situation? I was like: "If that goes in I take back everything I ever though bad about the Lakers"...It did not go in, so I can still stand beside my opinion. I don't think the Lakers played bad, in fact I think they did play very well. I love how Kobe can step his game up and he should teach that to people around him. They need Nash and they need him soon. Kobe's 28 points and 9 assists speak for himself as the Black Mamba managed a 12-19 from the field. One final thought, Metta World Peace shouldn't start. He rushes offense to get a score. He should be more patient, create his shots or wait for an assist. This is what if learn, he can really be better.
Spurs take the victory 84-82

Cavaliers vs Nets
"You do know that I'm going to make this shot right?"
"You do know that I'm going to make this shot right?"
Finally got to the point that I have faith in the Nets's success. I love the players individually, but as team I didn't feel them from the get go, but now something has changed. Seeing as they are getting better and better each game I love the motivation that leads them. Kyrie Irving is always in his top form. Scoring 33 points (career high) is an amazing feat, not to mention his 8 assists. Varejao really surprised me with the way he played. I did not expect him to be that active on offense even he usually is. I mean scoring 35 points speaks itself. It clearly shows what I said about Brook Lopez in my Brooklyn blog. He isn't your typical defensive center, though he attacks the rim like a beast as Deron gave him a huge alley-oop. I see the Nets now as a team. Lopez 23, Johnson 25 and Williams scoring 26 points. Not only the points but Joe had 6 while Deron had 10 assists. They are becoming somewhat good to see and I'm much calmer when I sit down and watch a Nets game. I'm more confident in them now and really started to like them. Let down was Bogans with 0 and I missed Dion Waiters's game from previous matches and overall I missed Gerald Wallace. I wonder what will happen if he returns because it seems like the current formula is built for winning games. I hope when he comes back he will only make the team stronger, otherwise he could be a sixth man and score when needed.
Nets take the victory 114 to 101
