Harden who was an intensive and great scorer off the bench will easy Lin's job for sure as the shooting guard can find his own shots, create situation for himself and draw a great amount fouls. With this Houston might just have enough firepower to become contenders.
But what's with OKC? It's surely a drop. Harden avaraged 16.8 points off the bench and had some sweet matches where he dropped 30. That means they need to find a scoring option off the bench when Durant isn't on the court, but is Kevin Martin or Jeremy Lamb enough for them? OKC is a young team in itself and I do think it will set them back, the question is how much?
Let's hope a good rotation can still get OKC the success they had the last 4 years.
I'm not saying that Martin is a bad player at all, but he isn't as good as Harden at his position. Kevin is bad on defense and transition while Harden can defend the post and people on drive. James Harden is also a better shot creator, sure Kevin Martin had some good plays and some clutch situations, but can he do as well as Harden? I doubt it. On another note Kevin Martin hasn't been on a team that can play the game this well, so we might just see some improvement on his game.
