2009 Free Agents....

.......I have listed most of the remaining Free Agents from both the AL and NL teams..... some have been signed..most are still available. There are a few "names" that I would have expected to have been signed by someone, to a minor league deal if nothing else....Richie Sexson for example...granted he had a very subpar season with Seattle, it was rumored he suffered from some vision problems and a sick child that was more than a problem in regards to concentration, the vision situation if true is easily corrected and I believe his child is in better health, he still might have some pop left in his bat and I would imagine he could be had for low end money......Ben Sheets is another name that comes to mind, I am surprised he wasnt inked to a deal during the winter...he is currently rehabbing his shoulder in Texas at a facility owned by the Rangers....that may have some kind of meaning...or maybe not....Pedro Martinez is probably the "biggest" name still unsigned, he is asking for a $5M deal...the Dodgers are mulling it over...I don't think Omar Minaya will pull the trigger on that deal, especially for a $5M price tag.
