Hurricanes Come Up Short in Buffalo

The Carolina Hurricanes came up just a little short last night in Buffalo. It was a well played game on both sides with both teams trading goals in the first and the Sabres taking a 2-1 lead into the third. Buffalo pulled out to a 3-1 lead before Jussi Jokinen brought the lead back to just one with under a minute remaining but the Sabres sealed the victory with an empty-net goal to send the Hurricanes home with a loss.
