I CC you on the bench!

Robinson Cano gave a tremendous effort to start a double play at second, but was not able to get it done.

Robinson Cano is starting to show signs of life, from hitting in the 3rd spot in the lineup. As he hit his 3rd homer on the season.

Win streak at 7 after Yankees defeat Rays in a AL East battle in front of the hometown fans.

Last night at Yankee Stadium the Yankees scored a one-run victory (4-3) against the Rays, sending a crowd of 51,073 fans away from the stadium in a great mood. At least until they got into traffic, and then we can't promise anything.

C.C. Sabathia allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 8 to earn his 5th win of the season.

Robinson Cano went 2-for-3 in the game, belting a home run and driving in 2 runs.

Robinson offered up some comments about the game. "You always like to come back to win, and we were able to do just that against their bullpen."

The Yankees and Rays wrap things up this afternoon, with the Yankees sending Cliff Lee (2-1, 1.99) to the hill while James Shields (6-1, 3.70) will toe the rubber for the visiting Rays.
