As I sit here, going through my yearly purchase log of games there is not a game I have played this year that has lived up to the expectations and promises given( Outside Of Madden ). We bash EA on this forum constantly and most disrespect against anyone from any major company will get you banned now. Even the word H A T E R is banned now for some odd reason. I just thought that WE MAKE THIS SITE and WE BUY THOSE GAMES. No matter how displeased we are, we continue to hope next year will be better and go to our favorite gaming store like sheep to the slaughter.

I usually don't voice my opinion on this site out of fear of being banned, because in my short time as a user I have seen people get banned for the most trivial of reasons with no option or way of appealing that decision or explaining yourself. The MLB offering from 2k this year is the last straw as a consumer for me. Even NBA 2k13 is filled with so many broken promises such as art updates throughout the season and this is the second year those promises are unfulfilled, even though developers on this site have said they would update the entire thread of updates and we have not seen any of the changes made in two years. MLB 2K13 is the saddest excuse of a yearly game I have ever seen. I know this is small but Jose Reyes has been bald for 2 years and we still have Dreads and one length at that.

We all sit here in anger thinking our posts will affect change but at the end of the day nothing could be further from the truth.

The time to boycott is now. Did we as gamers just lose respect for ourselves and our rights as consumers. We do not have to buy these games. WE HOLD THE POWER, not them. I think its time we just boycott games and I don't mean forever but for a long enough time to prove that we control this not them. The fact that they do not care about our right to choose shows us just how little they care about their consumers. It's time we start to take our rights back. WE DO MATTER. Without us there is no OS, there is no 2k, there is no EA, and let's not forget the patch for UFC 3 we were blatantly lied to about no matter how they try and twist it things like that lead to their bankruptcy. It's time for us to make change happen or It's time to shot up and accept it and I for one will not accept it any longer.

Every year we have a rat race to see who can get NCAA first or Madden first. That's like we are trying to race one another to show each other up when all we get in the end is a car wreck of a game and the oh so Customary Release Day Patch. I for one am done buying bs games after MLB 2k13. It's so bad I have NHL 2k13 and I haven't even opened it because it will be another failure of a game.

In conclusion I hope that we all can come together and show the will power not to buy NCAA, NBA, MADDEN, MLB, or any other bs game until they live up to the expectations that we have and we deserve. In 2013, games from 2005 should not be better in terms of presentation and realism than now and we need to come together and demand more.

What updates did they promise for 2k13? I really enjoyed that game year round. A lot of fun things to do in it. Madden was **** after the first month. Only reason I played it was for Ultimate Team after and they just wanted 100's of dollars from the buyers to get ****ty cards. I am really happy as a 2k fan right now. Hopefully WWE 14 comes out great and I wont be buying Madden because it dissapoints every year. Season is too short. They need to release Madden a month earlier.

it is impossible to totally boycott them but you can skip a few years. Eventually you will just get that taste to try something new even if it fails in your expectations. our marriage to sports video games is not that different from dating/marriage:. ie. I have not purchased an NCAA football game since they ripped me off in 08. I am getting NCAA football this year no matter what. when its time its time.

If your talking about NBA 2k13 ( I won't even discuss that abomination of a baseball game ) I do get some enjoyment out of it but LD2K, Ronnie 2K, and The Fabled 2k Insider promised they looked at the changes listed for all players and that missing players would be added promptly when it came to this years game, on NBA 2k12 on the back of the box they featured art updates like jerseys and players hair they even blogged about it and said they looked at the thread of player and team corrections so when it came to 2k13 it wouldnt happen now not a player has been updated, we still have missing players after 23 roster updates, and The Warriors jersey they said they couldn't add to this years game is for some reason a code in the game because PC players unlocked all the cheats. Also if they can update art why do we get bs court updates but cant get a fro for Bynum. Yes, they are trivial things but if you say something as a man you should keep to what you say.

Secondly, I know we cant boycott them forever and we all have boycotted some game at one point or another but I think it's time we come together as a community and make a stand. You alone didn't make waves but if all of the OS nation came together and just said no if only for a year or two we would make change happen.

So you're mad that Bynum doesn't have a fro?? If I may say, gameplay is the key to all games. NBA2K13 is by car far one of the best sports games, along with MLB The Show. They both have minor differences, like players without their correct look in real life, but its a game and developers aren't ever going to get it 100% correct. With Madden, the gameplay is just awful, stale, and hasn't changed in ages.. If you wanna talk about little things, did you see the Chicago Bears away pants?! Get off the soapbox about not having this art work, or that jersey and enjoy the damn game. If you can't enjoy it, then be a developer and fix it. Or play better games like Bioshock..

Lmao @Birdman18 so this is what your telling me. When I buy a game and the press reps promise certain things I want and the promises are not delivered I should just be a game developer to fix what they messed up. This has to be one of the all time dumbest post I ever heard and people like you are why we they can just do what they keep doing. With your logic if I take my car in to get my engine fixed and my car painted black and when I come back they've painted my car pink and red but my engine is fixed I should be happy right or just become a mechanic. As long as it runs well I shouldn't worry about getting WHAT I PAID FOR. DO you see how dumb that logic is. Then Madden is stale with gameplay even though they completely revamped the entire game engine this year???? The point is not about a fro, the point is game developers are not held to any accountabilty when they give out their yearly broken promises. You are the exact consumer I'm talking about, the reason why Madden is " stale " as you call it. This whole " if you don't like it be a developer " crap is getting old bruh, that is just so 2006. At least give me a better comeback than that. I feel as though you have better grammatical capabilities than this misinformed post said.

You see a good argument or retort starts with facts, you know like my blog, not opinions like yours. Who are you to tell me what should be important in the games I buy, so since you asked you may not say gameplay is key to all games. That is your opinion, yet you come to " My Blog " to tell me I can't have one. The ignorance and complete uninformed nature of the post has me laughing entirely to hard to even respond anymore lmao.

P.S. I'm fine right here on my soapbox, because last time I checked My Blog is for that very reason. You don't have to read it :-)
