NHL 2K11 looking to round out its soundtrack, not dead yet? Stuck

I may be wrong, but if you are planning on killing off a game, you probably shouldn't be looking to round out it's music soundtrack. The posting was posted on January 6 and expired on January 20. All of this was after the speculation that NHL 2K11 was dead surfaced in December. Hopefully we see the game in September, because the 2K lineup of games was getting rather thin to say the least.

NHL 2K11 is the latest in a series of critically acclaimed hockey games, due out in September 2010. 2K Games is not accepting more than 300 artist submissions. Submissions may close before the posted deadline. Besides the amazing exposure opportunity, selected bands will be paid a $3,000 fee. Previous acts in 2K Sports hockey games include Phoenix, MGMT, The Ramones, Bad Religion, Korn and Quiet Riot. If chosen, band will be required to sign 2K�s standard licensing form before they receive the $3,000.

I certainly hope this is good news. I'm still not going to hold my breath though. It would be nice if one of the suits at 2K confirmed 2K11 would be released. I think it's obvious that it's still being made and worked on. But whether or not it's published is another thing. Let's hope this latest news is a good indicator that it will be.

Yeah, it sucks that they won't let Ronnie or anyone else confirm or deny anything about NHL 2K11...What the hell is the big secret? It's an annual game, not some blockbuster new franchise that needs to be kept secret. This is good new, though, but a guy at the 2k hockey forums found it about 3 weeks ago, lol.

NHL 2k series is a great alt. game for those that don't like the EA game. I hope it sticks around. I played the heck out of NHL 09 but, switched to 2k this year and enjoyed it

2K need to remove the insane turn radious halt when turning, fix the animation transitions and make deking like EA. Remove the jerkiness. More midzone play
