NCAA Football 10 (Blog #5): Preview of the Review

OS's review is coming up at midnight tonight, so if you are on the fence and are waiting for some reviews to come out, stay tuned!

However, I want to provide a little bit of a preview of what's coming. As you may know, we publish three positives and three negatives in our reviews. I have stated these in some form in my impressions already, so this won't be new, but something else to get you through your work day:

+Gameplay is the best yet.
+Online Dynasty is still good.
+Player lock cam is good diversion.

-Presentation is awful.
-Sliders don't work.
-Teambuilder isn't quite what we thought.

I don't care about Teambuilder. I do care about working sliders. Will you change your review after the patch if they are fixed?

We never change reviews for patches Rudy. If a developer ships a broken game, that broken game is the one that gets rated because it's the one people get in the stores.

And aimiami, you'll just have to read the review for my full thoughts on Teambuilder

Yeah Rudy, I liked NCAA Football 09. It did a lot of new things compared to the previous years. Presentation was awful there too though

Thanks for the info Chris. I liked '09 too but my biggest issues were no cpu going deep, no cpu run game, poor sliders, and poor pursuit angles. The poor play selection was also a problem. NCAA '10 sounds like it may have fixed all of that with their first patch. Although I wish they would have kept the old camera.

chris in your review can you mention any info about cheesey plays or anmantions that are messed up that takes away from the game.

i.e. rocket catch or WRs warping to the ball or OL letting go of blocks bad DB play

I wish you didnt need a constant internet connection for teambuilder. That's whats upsetting for me about it at the moment.
