I'm finally getting caught up...UFC Demo Stuck
Posted on May 7, 2009 at 09:25 PM.
The downtick of the semester plus chasing tornadoes has left me with quite a shortage of time to really dig into a lot of demos out. However, I finally got a chance to play the UFC 2009 Undisputed Demo tonight and wow! This game is going to have the potential to be pretty darned good.

I'm not sure where it's going to fall on the scale, because I have a feeling the commentary is going to end up super repetitive as are many of the canned animations, but the multiplayer gameplay has the potential to be the best of the year (Fight Night is looking my way at the very least here).

I can't say for certain whether the gameplay will get to be too repetitive, but I think it feels a lot like a traditional fighter built around the UFC formula, which I thik is a great thing. The presentation is without a doubt some of the best in a sports game today. It's too bad the commentary will drag it down somewhat.

I'm sure most of you have had plenty of time to really dissect the demo by now, so what do you think at this point? Is UFC 2009 Undisputed going to be a top-tier game this year?

I just played it for the first time today and i can say i really enjoyed. It wasn't overly complicated but it still has enough depth to make u want to learn the moves. i agree with about the commentary cuz i did hear soem phrases consistanly eps. when they were commenting on Liddel. But overall i think it has potential to be a very good game. I hope it has a good career mode.

I have to say I LOVE THIS GAME! I am a big fight night fan and not really that knowledgeable about MMA. After I downloaded this game the day the demo came out, I am hooked. I have played this demo over 100 times. Every single fight has had a different ending. The tactics and possibilities are endless. This game has made me really want to watch UFC fights on TV to learn each fighter's strengths and weaknesses before the game comes out. I have played the tutorial about 4 times to make sure I know all the possible moves for striking, clinching, and submission. I highly reccomend doing this if you have not played the game yet. Also up the level of difficulty in the options screen to truly test yourself with each fighter. I am now more excited for this game than FN4. It is great!!!
