NCAA 13: Week 12 Simulations Stuck
Posted on November 17, 2012 at 11:16 AM.

Week 12 is here and with it, NCAA Football 13 is set to simulate the top three matchups of the week! While there aren't any HUGE matchups this week, there are plenty of roadblocks for the Nation's top teams.

#13 Stanford (8-2) at #2 Oregon (10-0)
Line: Oregon -20.5

Stanford travels to Eugene to play the Oregon Ducks in this week's game of the week. Vegas believes this game is going to be a blowout, with Oregon nearly a three touchdown favorite. NCAA 13 agreed with Vegas and most of the experts as Marcus Mariota and DeAnthony Thomas hooked up early and often for Oregon. Stanford could not keep up with Oregon's relentless offensive attack, and the Ducks rolled big after jumping out to a 35-7 halftime lead.

#6 Ohio State (10-0) at Wisconsin (7-3)
Line: Wisconsin -2.5

There is literally zero hype for Ohio State right now. Why? Because they are a non-factor in all things post-season football due to their postseason Bowl Ban as levvied by the NCAA. But, Ohio State has quietly started off 10-0 and could be one of the best teams in the country. Urban Meyer has the Buckeye Machine rolling as they enter Madison. NCAA Football 13 says the offense will be tough to come by. Montee Ball has had a rough year by his own standards, as he's well behind last year's pace. In our simulation Ball had just 55 yards on 18 carries while Braxton Miller ran wild with 122 yards rushing. That was the difference as Ohio State edges the Badgers in a close game.

Ohio State 13 Wisconsin 7

#18 USC (7-3) at #17 UCLA (8-2)
Line: USC -4

There were certainly higher expectations than this coming into the 2012 Campaign for the Trojans. With the brunt of NCAA sanctions yet to come for the program, this was Southern Cal's last chance to be relevant for a few years on the National Stage. However, things didn't quite work out. Now USC has to beat cross-town rival UCLA in order to go to the Pac-12 Championship game. Matt Barkley and Silas Redd were a lethal 1-2 combination early in our sim, as USC jumped up 17-0 midway through the second. However, Brett Hundley led UCLA down the field for a score and then a pick-six of Barkley put the score at 17-14 at halftime. From there, UCLA's defense took over. USC was shut out in the second half as UCLA scored three more times to blow out USC at the end.
