Madden 11 part 1: Offense
Posted on September 20, 2009 at 10:02 PM.
I will from now on be doing blogs on how to take Madden to the next step. Here is improvements for offense.

Quarterback play: QBs were greatly differentiated in Madden 10, but something weren't executed well. One is the robo QB. Now Im fine with Tom Brady having it but Jamarcus Russell is making it ridiculous. There needs to be a rating for this. There are also too much lame ducks. The QBs should be programmed to take more sacks, and a lot of those lame ducks should be fumbles or intentional groundings.

Running back play: I've came up with what I think is a brilliant idea. If pull LT then your running back shuffles his feet sizing up his defender. Then you can branch out of this with jukes. Other than this I think the running game was solid.

Wideout play: Catching animations were boring and akward this year. There should be more recievers going up and gettin the ball. Look at this years intro and fitzgeralds catches. He just went up and grabbed it. Fade plays look bad and aren't in every teams playbook. Rocket catches are apart of football but shouldn't be so easy. Wide recievers shouldn't be able to stop on a dime, but take a little bit to deaccelerate.

Offensive Line play: The pocket was fantastic this year but run blocking is broken. CPU run blocking AI needs to be rewritten. Stop missing obvious blocks or whiffing everytime. Everyones main gripe was the run blocking with '10.

Little Things: QBs and centers pointing out possible blitzers. More noise from the linemen blocking. CPU should send players in motion and audible more.

louder QB cadences...the QB needs to shout them out!
