JETS week 2 season 1...Jets vs Packers. OK so before the game based off of some injuries I have decided to try and make a few trades or free agent pick ups. I start with Free agents. I snag Mariani the KR and also pick up Colt Lyara the TE. I'm going to try Pryor for now at QB. I do notice Vreen is on the trade block so I figure what the heck lets try for him. I offer my newly signed Mariani and toss in TE Chamberland as it says they want a WR and TE, tossed in a 6th rounder figured it would be a no and I'm ok with Ivory. But as luck would have it I leaver the screen and look in the list and they accepted the trade. Also ended up looking for a WR to replace the newly departed KR and found Danny Amendola out there weird the Pats cut him after the trade.Now on to the game... I did move my Auto subs around a bit to see if I could get a little rotation going. Started great strong running game now with Vreen and Ivory and Pryor can move around. Two great drives where the running game pulled me out of a few 3 and longs. Pryor cant throw 2/7 but he has 18 yards on the ground. Vreen is averaging about 4 and Ivory is in the GL package and picks up the TD after the first drives FG so 10-0 after the 1st quarter. Side note Danny A 1 catch 3 yards 1 injury out for game.Aaron Rogers is 100% 6/6 starting the 2nd Quarter and leads a strong drive to the 15 where I hold them to FG 10-3. 10/10 from Rogers.3rd Quarter is a lot of running from both teams. Pryor just can't seem to dial in his WR, 4/13 but Rogers is 16/16 at the end of the 3rd.4th Quarter Green Bay starts with the ball and ends with a FG 10-6 score and Rodgers is 19/19 holly crap. I'm 6/16 but Vreen does break 100 yards. I also notice I have 5 sacks on Rodgers to there 3 on me. Great catch by Decker FG JETS 13-6 with 2:36 left. Crazy drive by GB killing me on short runs and passes 23/23 from Rogers they get to the 6 yard line with 28 seconds left on the clock, Rogers drops back to pass to Nelson and its a...INT game set match. I have to say 23/24 is killer and im 6/20. 6 sacks from the JETS and 3 from GB. No long injuries other than Shaq is out for 2 weeks elbow. On to week 3.
