J E T S Jets Jets Jets.So far the pre season is done and let me just say the record 3-1 looks better than it is. The first 3 games of the pre season went ok with Geno Smith playing above par but unable to gain the Jets the lead before the half during any of the games. Mr Vick came in and got the win 3 weeks in a row with stellar play in the 3rd quarter of each game. Mr. Simms was the 4th quarter QB for the first 2 but after an alarming 2/34 stat line on completions he was let go, and a Mr. Pryor has been signed.Hardly any injuries to this point most just out for the games the only loss is Mr. Amaro who will be out 6 weeks with a back issue.Now week 4 is the issue that will alter the season one way or another. With the score 10-10 going into the half, Rex Ryan made the decision to keep his starters in for just 1 more quarter to try and win the meaningless pre season game. all things where going fine and a simple over the middle pass that was dropped seemed innocent enough until the announcers started talking about an injured player. Mr. Smith was on the ground holding his leg, the announcers made a point to let me know his family was watching and it didn't look good. Needless to say he is done for the year with a torn PCL worst possible news. Mr. Vick stepped in and drove the ball down to the 1 yard line. it was at this point the O line decided to let everyone through and Mr. Vick was hurt, thankfully just for the game. Mr. Pryor did his best and did get a TD and a FG drive in pushing the game to OT but his ill timed INT at the 32 sealed the game. Now its time to see what the future holds for the JETS as they look at the QB depth chart before week 1. Looking into trades or Free agents after tonight will update to see what direction this franchise decides to go.
