2013-14 Regular Season
Posted on May 7, 2013 at 05:54 AM.
*I'm tracking the results in tables and will post them at end of the regular season.*

After last seasons success, the board has asked for playoffs this season. I feel I had a decent offseason and the development of some of the prospects has helped to strengthen the roster.
Offensively the side is a bit weak on the top lines but the 3rd and 4th offer some good depth. Defensively the roster is looking good and same with the Goalie options.

A very good season for the Preds, finishing a lot better than expected. The stats of some of the players is very encouraging too with youngsters like Bourque, Forsberg and Josi featuring regularly in the scoring columns.

A tough year for the Admirals, but it's to be expected as I plan to use them to get game time into prospects.

# 1 RagingTrav @ May 24
*04-Nov* Scoring is difficult to come by, getting plenty of shots but not much is beating the opposition Goalie. Rinne on the other hand is letting in a lot of soft goals and is one more away from being replaced by Smith as starter.

# 2 RagingTrav @ May 24
*08-Nov* J. Smith (1-0-0 0.69 GAA .965 SA%) will replace Rinne (7-8-2 2.10 GAA .893 SA%) as starting goalie. Rinne is letting in a lot of stupid goals while Smith has been more than capable everytime he's stood in. I'll decide later if I keep Rinne or look to move him on.

# 3 RagingTrav @ May 24
*28-Nov* Scoring is still difficult to come by and as a result Nashville sit outside the playoffs. I've decided to trade block Legwand, Rinne and Gaustad to try and bring in a top offensive prospect. I've also shuffled the lines around, dropping under performing players down to lower lines.

Line Changes
Fisher -> 1st C
Smith -> 3rd C
Watson -> 4th C
Spaling -> 1st RW
Legwand -> 2nd RW
Kostitsyn -> 3rd RW
Smith -> Starting Goalie
Rinne -> Backup

# 5 RagingTrav @ May 24
*18-Dec* Since making the line changes the side I've gone 10-0-0 scoring 43 and conceding only 19! The top 2 lines in particular have gelled and been producing like I've never had before in previous GM's.

# 6 RagingTrav @ May 25
*27-Dec* I've decided to turn injuries on. I don't think it will make too big a difference with me playing most of the games but will add a bit more to it for me free agency/roster depth wise.
First game, Weber out for 3 to 4 weeks >_<

# 7 RagingTrav @ May 30
*7th Jan* Fisher (2 weeks) and Forsberg (1 week) are injured. Gaustad and Beck will replace them
*12th Jan* Spaling will miss upto two weeks with concussion. Puustinen will play in his place.
*23rd Jan* Weber is again injured for 3-4 weeks, this time with a pulled groin. Aronson will come back into the side.
*2nd Feb* Blum will be out for about a week and Watson for 3 months. Rover and Gaustad will dress in their places.

# 8 RagingTrav @ May 31
*14th Feb* In a major blow, Spaling will miss 3 months. Josh Shalla will come into the side.
*17th Feb* The injury gods aren't being kind. Hornqvist out for 4 to 5 weeks. Puustinen will play in his place.

# 9 RagingTrav @ Jun 3
*27th Feb* Legwand has been ruled out for 2 weeks with a rib injury. Daniel Bang will replace him.

# 10 RagingTrav @ Jun 7
*21st Mar* Jeremy Smith is out for about a week and will be replaced in net by Rinne
*25th Mar* Legwand will miss a game with concussion. Puustinen will dress on the 4th line and Beck move to 4th C
*29th Mar* Beck will miss about a week. Puustinen will come back to 4th LW

# 11 RagingTrav @ Jun 9
*Apr-9* Horrible timing, Hornqvist will miss a month with a broken foot. Puustinen will take his place.
