This years Denver Nugget squad has changed, but not much. Former Philadelphia 76ers swing man Andre Iguodala is the biggest pick-up for the Nuggets this year. Denver has been lacking a star player since the ending of the Melo Era. Although most would not consider Iguodala a star, he is as close as you can get. Hopefully, for Nuggets fans, his leadership and playoff experience will lead the nuggets to a second round appearance for the first time since the 2009 season. Denver has reached the playoffs eight consecutive seasons but has failed to reach the second round in all but 1 of those seasons. The 2012-2013 season should be a great season for Denver. Denver has always been talented and young, but these last few seasons they have lacked a true 1st option. Iguodala just might be that guy.
