One man alone, toppled a juggernaut of a franchise; and that franchise being NBA LIVE series. It was because of Mike Wang formerly of (2K Sports), and then (EA Sports), and then back with (2K Sports) as of present, and his vision and tech that has brought EA Sports division of NBA LIVE to there knees once again.
3 years of no NBA LIVE? Are you kidding me! A company as big as EA, and they cant get a virtual bball right yet? That is a crying shame.
EA had to pull the plug on their Live13 release, after "they" played the 2K13 demo. EA had tobe impressed enough to cann the whole project, and maybe their staff too!
EA had nothing left to stand on after 2K took out the last two legs of the table; dribble control stick (right analog), and a presumably fixed "Online servers?"; other than that, EA had a horrribly looking game, which the bball community crapped all over from since E3 that took place in the summer. There is nothing left for EA to do but copy and surpass 2K, somehow, some way. Good luck
Mike Wang brought in a special something to NBA LIVE 10 series; something they could have expanded on; but didnt! So after he defected back to 2K along with his visions; that began the down fall of the LIVE franchise; and now here we are three years later listening to a recording saying, "NBA LIVE XX is Cancelled".
With Mike Wangs vision gone and the help of a YouTube video called "Jesus Bynum", by a YouTube commentator: Hard8times - "The truth of Youtube, Ya Digg"; EA had no choice that time to pull the plug; What's really their excuse this time?
cheers, and R.I.P NBA LIVE franchise 1995 - 2010; sorry there aint nothing raising from this grave! lol
