It's no biggie for most but i felt cheated in a way; i was not able to choose Magic Johnson as my cover athlete. Why? you ask; well it all came down to what stores got the most of, in different regions. Which is bull***t, as i called some of my LA County homies and they all told me they had a choice of picking Bird, Johnson, or Jordan.
i ASK THE QUESTION TO YOU ALL OUT THERE THAT PRE-ORDERED; WHERE YOU ABLE TO CHOOSE YOUR COVER FOR YOUR GAME?

Yes i was able to choose my cover athlete which i think was a great addition.

No choice for me but I pre ordered through Amazon so thats probably why.

Yea, my Gamestop had a midnight launch so I went and picked it up. I was like the 8th guy in line and only three in front of me were actually getting 2k12. The others were getting either Dark Souls or Rage. Anyway I got the first PS3 version with Bird on it from my Gamestop. Heck Yea!
