No more patches for NBA 2K11....!
Posted on January 18, 2011 at 02:49 AM.
It's been confirmed throughout the net. 2k, has abandoned yet another incomplete project. i had wished for soo many things to be fixed in this game and yet; disappointment has set across my face.

To me, this is bad business practice; and is the same stuff that they do over at EAsports. So why? would i think 2K would be any better? They are not even close, when it comes to quality control. This news has left a bitter taste in my mouth; on a game with soo my great potential for 2k to pack up and leave the kettle boiling on the stove!
So where do i go from here? Do i keep playing this broken game? and tweak the HELL out of it until i can get some what of a decent game? ANSWER: wrong. tHE GAME still has major glaring bugs.
You would think a game nominated for multiple awards and game of the year would put their best foot forward, and deliver all the way through. Oh, i forgot, it's 2K and the same issues they have had for years not being corrected. It's a sad day for those following the NBA through 2K Sports; but what did you really expect?

trifelife: They served you slop and you love it. I guess if you buy a car that's supposed to have power windows and AC but they never work you'll be fine with that long as the car starts.

Even if it's 90 degrees outside and your showing up to work in pouring sweat because you can't roll the windows down and your AC doesn't work.

Hey. At least I got to work.

Hope your deodorant works because your opinion stinks.

SirDAB: I take it as though 2k cant fix the bugs. You state that they won't fix it because they might mess something else up. Which is it.

It looks like you agree with me because if they could they would fix the problems. 2k has left their last 3 games in this state and the general public keeps singing their praises. This site is one of them.

They continue to give the game high ratings when it's released even though it's filled with bugs and things that don't work even though it says right on the game packaging it does.

BQ32: I couldn't agree with you more.

Far as the general public. McDonald's serves more meals every day than any restaurant in this country.

Slop sells well in this country. And Americans seem to love it even though the burgers don't taste like real hamburger.

BlackRome if I did buy a car like that you can bet I would never buy another one. What makes you guys keep buying 2K basketball year after year, day one as soon as it comes out? I'm not going at you the way you tried going at me, I'm seriously asking why you don't just give up on them? It sounds like they don't deserve your money.

Nobody serverd me anything. I read the reviews good and bad, tried the game out, then bought it and I'm happy with it. I'm an informed consumer, you on the other hand sound like your getting had every year.

BlackRome is right about one thing 4 sure...from a gameplay functionality standpoint 2k8 is the best game that 2K ever dropped. problem is that 4 some reason i cant go back in play 2K8 anymore....i tried to play it a while back and something was just off.

but aside from that the online in 2k8 was so user friendly, it was nothing to go online and pickup a game, the lobbies everything about it was great. and its all gone downhill in the online department from there, to the point that when i do play i dont even go online anymore.

and the online Association is gotta be one of the worse out there, why can 2k put an exact replica of the offline Association online. and why cant you play with just 2ppl, i take a team in 1 conf a friend who doesnt reside with me takes the other and we just play a association online.

honestly id rather just see them scrap online all together and just focus on offline if they cant get online correct. i know most ppl would disagree with that but thats my view on it.

I love basketball its my fav sport and i purchased 2k11 on day 1. i was the main person telling everyone i know it would be the greatest thing ever...and you know what i havent even played it that much, something about it is just off...mostly i hate the dribbling. feeling like i never really have control over my players actions.

in the end i dont know what to make of 2k11 as a total product, all i do know is i was ready to love it and for some reason or another im still looking for that spark
