LIVE / ELITE headed into new direction
Posted on October 28, 2010 at 03:08 PM.
Don't be surprised if we don't see NBA anything next season from EA. Do people see what happens went you create bad products (one and done). I saw this a mile away; as i stated in some of my rants (on Gamefaqs) during the late summer, with all those garbage videos of ELITE 11. Now, look where things have gone (SOUTH -Tiburon). That was an Air-ball. In this time and age; companies better listen to their communities better and more; because this is a clear representation of a dev team that wanted to do their own thing. They had probably promised the Leader Heads, and investors; that their game would be finished and be competitive enough with 2K11. That wasn't the case though; being they changed there tune later in the year to being an alternate to 2K11. Now, if you don't understand the difference between competitive and alternate, you really didn't listen in school; and they (EA-NBA dev-team) weren't listening. Now, their all fired! Hope they all get a decent package.
I wonder how many of them will join the 2k side, and help them transform 2k12 into the "Real time Physics" era?

that was the vibe that I got from NBA Elite 11. They wanted to do there thing with the game and the customers didn't want it. We just wanted an improve NBA Live 10. Heck all I wanted this year was the option to play a 58 game season and I was gonna jump ship.
