totally disagree yes it can be improved and it will get even better next year but this is far better then 09 people need to realize no game is perfect and this one is not either but its very fun and far more realistic then anything we have seen before its a great game i think ea worked very hard all year on this one and i think they will for next years as well!

I agree to an extent...The more you play the game the more you see that it really isn't that much different than 09 in certain respects..The added presentation is better..and the pro-tak is serviceable WHEN it works..but there are just to many similarities and faults with the game that are reminicent of 09...and to me the CPU logic especially on the defensive end haas gotten worse..I have never seen so many blitzes that totally leave wrs wide open in all of my life..the adaptive AI is just non existent as you can run the same player over with success i.e passes to the flats..and you can line up in a particular formation and the CPU never adjusts..ex...going 5 wide and the CPU still stays in base defense..THe CPU run game leaves alot to be deisred and is haphazard..I have yet to see wr/db jostling which is present in NCAA..have yet to see wr's being awre of the sidelines..and have yet to see a noticeable improvent in OL/DL interaction or logic..No doubt I highly respect Ian for what he tried to do with what was basically given to him..but man I can't see where the game will make a dramatic improvement gameplay wise with the short development cycle and the engine it's on..that's an uphill battle...

Modern Warfare was released in November '07 and Modern Warfare will be released in almost 2 years to date from the first...not hardly the same thing.

49ers94 I'm sure the NFL sees the sales numbers and probably doesn't care what the minority of people who don't like the game think.
The comparison of MW to MW2 really isn't a good one to me. Sports games rarely (if ever) make the jumps that FPSs/Action games do.

I mean, really? People talk crap as if they THEMSELVES are perfect and don't have flaws so EVERYTHING else should be perfect, too. Are you representing manhood like u should IF u are a man?? I take the good with the bad in most games in a RATIONAL mind state. This game is far from the horror most of you drama queens make it out to be. Yes, there are still SOME lingering issues but I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bath water and NOT see what they've tried to do with the game. Some improvements are subtle and if u have played Madden over the years, u will notice them while other things are obvious.
Now, if u think I'm a fanboy, nah. Just keepin it real, real sensible. I even created a blog of likes/improvements/additions for Ian to view and there are a ton of fixes and additions listed (check it out in my arena) but I'm not going to beat EA up because the game is not perfect when there is a lot of good in the game. These guys tried to cover a HUGE gamut of things in less than a year. I applaud the effort even if some things weren't succeded in. Plus, they are still getting acclamated with the systems, more so, the PS3. They've never had this type of advanced tech like in the PS3 and 360 to be able to stretch their Madden engine so now they are doing it. They also don't have the business structure of being able to take a year off and REALLY go hard at fixing EVERYTHING plus adding new things to keep the game fresh.
That being said, believe what u want.

Hatin on games is like hatin on people. If you look hard enough at the flaws you'll never enjoy the good stuff. Somebody must have really smashed you online to go off like that. P.S. check your spelling before you decide to go apeish.

Modern Warfare 2 is way over hyped in my personal opinion and myself i'll give modern warfare 2 a month or two atill it gets old

Listen everybody who think the game is bad DO NOT PLAY this game on ALL MADDEN the system cheats you the defenders know your routes better than you do and your linemen will not block for you and if you are sick of this problem put the game on PRO and know they will not be easy to beat either and put the cpu skills on 100 it does not boost their rating it just make them play how they play in real life 100% instead of just 50 believe me it works i don't see anymore tron joggin everybody block who they suppose to and sometimes they might get beat depending on the player and if you have a fast wide reciever and a slow corner you will beat him like it would happen in real life so try it and see the big difference because now i love that game more than ever and i can honestly say its a better simulation game with the sliders adjusted thanks to versuz2 on youtube check out his videos to prove it if you don't believe me

yea i agree i play on all-pro but certain sliders will put u in a real good game too and it wont b.s. u like all madden but still give u a chase for ur money
