I had only two issues with NBA 2k15 MyCareer. Maybe I missed something and there was a mention of what would happen with these features, but last year they had shot fatigue which sort of seems like a dividing topic. I have to say I agree with the concept, but there are rare players who can shoot all day and not feel fatigued and that is where my issue with this feature stands: Are we creating rare exceptional players or run of the mill characters? Why place limitations on us through programming? I know when I play I want to break records and stand out above all other players. But why was it decided that we need to be slowed down by creating a limit on the number of shots we take before we miss even the easiest scoring opportunities? I understand if statistically this actually happens and shot quality drops from repetitive motions but in a way it seems less than realistic to make sure the game forces us to miss instead of only when we begin making bad shot selections. Also, the game has locked consistency at 50 so that (I suppose) there would be a purpose for some badges. But if we could earn points to build consistency to where we desire then badges could be unlocked that way instead. It seems there are other ways to handle these issues. Also, it seems each new freedom given is followed by a small sacrifice of abilities or features. Maybe it's to stop cheesers or online loophole trolls, but maybe there needs to be a separation of online and single player characters. I don't wish to see artifical limits in my game but with everything 2k has done with this franchise I guess I should just accept it for what it is; a great game.
