As I was perusing through the magazine aisle at the local supermarket, I noticed that Dave Campbell's Texas Football had it's annual edition out on the shelves. Now, I love Baseball with all of my heart, but I recognize that in Texas, football is king. Ah the College Football Playoff! What an exciting time we live in where the BCS finally got their "plus one" game in while calling it a playoff. Many people believe that college football at its top level should have a playoff. These are many of the same people who whine about tradition in the game and want to continue to have the bowl games. I have always believed that the bowl games were good in their own right and I have never believed that out of 125+ teams you can have a true champion in any ... Read More

With all of the news about the Big XII and the SEC making a merger of sorts with their champions playing each other, it got me to thinking about the new direction of college football. There was one point in time where many people thought that the super-conferences would take over, but this wasn't to be the case. As of now, the largest conference in the nation is the Southeastern Conference with the additions of Texas A&M and Missouri. So what is the plan for the future of college football?

Today, I am continuing my look at all thirty teams in Baseball and the things that make them either great for starting a franchise, or lousy for playing one. This is "The Intangibles," a series of games that look at the aesthetic side of Baseball.
I grade my selections on these criteria...
I grade my selections on these criteria...
- Stadium Playability- This has to do with how well the stadium plays in the game
- Stadium Aesthetics- Basically, how pretty the stadium is.
- Team Logo- Is it unique or is it just

So, I'm starting a new blog series. I love MLB the Show... so much so that I'm trying to think of ways to have fun while keeping the game fresh. Every year, people ask what team they should start out with in franchise, and a lot of it (besides being a contender/ cellar dweller or having money) has to do with how the team and its stadium looks.
