GINOBILI GOES WILD, 76ERS WIN

The Knicks fought hard but in the end it was just too much Manu Ginobili for them to handle. In the second half Manu forgot about the rest of his team and decided that he was the only person that mattered. He finished with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 11 for 15.

Ginobili has his way with the Knicks

"I don't know what the dude is on, but we needed some of it tonight," said Rasheed Wallace after the loss. Rasheed was relatively quiet in this game, but Dirk Nowitzki lead the team with 22 points and 5 rebounds. C.J. Miles only finished with 8 points but his energy was infectious. Everytime he entered the game the Knicks managed to go on a run.

Coach Pappy Knuckles was very pleased with the play of young Miles. "Miles made a lot of plays that don't show up on the stat line. I think he's going to be a major contributor on this team. The guys played well tonight, but it was just one of those games that could've went either way. I'm proud of their effort."

Rafer Alston didn't score any buckets, but he finished with 9 assists and 1 turnover. He has protected the ball very well in these two games. The Knicks already look like an experienced team under his leadership. The next game on the schedule will see the Knicks battling Allen Iverson's Milwaulkee Bucks.
