This is something that was posted before by another user yet I started investigating this a bit further with interesting results. At first I thought this would just mean playing one on one in online mode like all Fight Night games have done in the best, but if you visit the Xbox.com FNRD4 profile you will see different:

I already posted the IGN Video up and talked about their First Look article.  However I am going to post now my thoughts on the video.  It is deeper than what it seems at first sight.  Here is the video if you missed it:

It has been a while since I posted a blog post, that is in no small part due to Twitter being the way I am currently pushing any short news on Fight Night.  Be that as it may, some info has been released that is worthy of its own blog post.  Last night, ESPN showed Mike Tyson and FN Producer/Developer Brian “Brizzo” Hayes going at it on Fight Night Round 4.  Here is a small portion of that segment:

This just in from EA Sports FN Forum by FN RD 4 producer/developer:

"I agree too. Somewhat...

A small problem with this idea is that there are plenty of guys on this list that might not be champs anymore by the time the game comes out. If a guy like Andreas Kotelnik didn't have a belt - would most people have thought of his name? What if he loses to Marcos

Hey:

This just in from Mike Mahar, producer of Fight Night Round 4. Here is a reply he did to a fan by the name of Mumra which was asking for "no parries" in the next installment of the series:

" We hear you guys loud and clear... we’ve been reading the forums for some time and we gather the parry system was not a favourite . I can't reveal our core game play mechanics yet (we appreciate your patience) but I can refer back to the initial interview I did ...which should

Short post for Fight Night fans. A few minutes ago, the Fight Night Round 4 was shown on the VGAs. Well, it was what was expected...Ali vs. Tyson in a staged video, no pure gameplay shown. I don't know if the graphics were ingame or just pure cinematics. I did not see anything at first glance that makes this any better than any other Fight Night, unless those were in-game graphics. Yet, we are used to great graphics and animations from EA Sports. What we are yearning for is the gameplay...which ... Read More

Some of the people on this site already know I have done several leagues for the Fight Night series. One of them was successful, the other two, well...they were not up to standards. So why keep trying if things haven't worked out sometimes? You might think, here comes PRGUY with another one of his complex league ideas...and you are probably right, but please read on and tell me what you think about this one. It's basically the same idea I was trying to sell for the Prizefighter league. So here it ... Read More

Not exactly a full fledged blog post but a shoutout about a new Fight Night focused community site. The address is:

http://fightnightnation.ning.com

Do not know if the editors here will allow for this link to be up. If it's against the rules, I'm sorry and will definitely take it down. Just want to let others interested in Fight Night that this site is available, in no way competes with Operation Sports and is just a small area to discuss and find people to play some ... Read More

Community. For thousands of years humans have commuted together forging the great societies of today and tomorrow. It goes from the minute conversation between two individuals on some remote coffee shop to the gargantuan colossus that is the Internet. After reading the title for this current post, some might think I am trying to indulge into the softer, lyrical side utilizing some rhetorical way to throw out some random opinion, yet it couldn't be more apt or sincere. Over the years, the video game ... Read More
