UNLV WIN ANOTHER NAILBITER

Las Vegas, NV -- It wasn't pretty, but it was a win for the Rebels as they defeated Utah State mostly without quarterback Armani Rogers. He went out in the first quarter after he conducted an opening drive that gave them a touchdown. From there, Kurt Palandech took over and handled his own.

Both teams were very stubborn in defense, especially in the second half. In fact, no points were scored in the second or third quarters. The game was tied with less than two minutes left in the first half, but UNLV pulled through with a drive which found Mekhi Stevenson making big plays. Charles Williams ran the ball in with 16 seconds left before halftime. From there, it was a defensive struggle. But luckily, the Rebels had scored last and it sealed the victory.
