San Marcos, TX -- Texas State had some trouble stopping the Prairie View A&M Panthers in Bobcat Stadium last night, but it didn't matter as the Panthers couldn't keep up with the Bobcats track meet style offense. Down 14-0 early, A&M finally found their legs and starting putting up points. But it was too late. Bobcats quarterback Jordan Moore tied the school record for touchdowns in a game with four, and running back Terrance Franks scored three of his own.
We all know it's not going to be this easy. But it's nice to see Texas State winning the games they're supposed to win in big fashion. And let's not forget, this is exciting football. There were plenty of empty seats in San Marcos last night, but that won't be the case next time.
