Washington State Hires New Coach

Rookie coach Andrew O'Hern hoping to put the Cougars back to the top

Pullman, WA - Fans and media gathered for an important announcement in regards to the Washington State football program. The AD officially announced coach Andrew O'Hern to be in control of the program effective immediately. O'Hern has no college coaching experience, however, he has had major success coaching high school football, with 3 state titles in 5 years in his home state of North Dakota.
He gained national attention after his third championship, with ESPN doing an entire story on him. He was the youngest coach to ever win one, let alone three, state titles. Washington State took notice and came to the point of offering him the head position here in Pullman.
"I am very excited to be here at Washington State and I'm ready to take this team in a new direction. I want to bring this team back to what it was earlier this decade. The fans, the students, the alumni all deserve it. I look forward to coaching at the collegiate level. Let's go Cougs!"
