NCAA 11 has officially colored me impressed. Let's compare to last year.
NCAA 10 - Teambuilder, Season Showdown, Online Dynasty stuff...yeah. Not much to get excited about, especially if you aren't an online gamer.
NCAA 11 - Locomotion, Dynasty management from a computer, ESPN presentation, team entrances, graphics upgrade. MY GOD!
I honestly haven't been this excited since NCAA 06. If it plays a good game of football, this thing will last me the entire year. They've ... Read More

With the release of the Backbreaker demo coming tomorrow(May 21) I will be doing some video impressions, much like I will, come June 1 with the full game.
I use a Dazzle capture card, so you won't have to deal with someone pointing a camera at the TV screen(bleh)
I'll provide commentary over the gameplay and express my thoughts about the demo as I play it. Here's what I will(attempt to)be focusing on:
-Overall gameplay
-Controls, responsiveness, user-friendly(or ... Read More

This year might be the year that we, as football gamers, FINALLY get what we want...well maybe.
I'm going to be buying Backbreaker(barring some kind of horrific gameplay from the demo) and NCAA 11.
Both look very very promising, with Backbreaker's almost unlimited customization options and unique approach to sports gaming. NCAA looks to be improving on so many fronts this year, how could it be worse than NCAA 10?
I'm not big on the NFL, so Madden isn't really ... Read More

This week has been so full of updates about NCAA 11...and the game(from what we've seen) looks absolutely incredible.
However, it's only April, we are 2 and 1/2 months away from release! I'm really excited about NCAA 11 and seeing all the epicness unfolding so early is torture!
Ok really, though, I think this will finally be the year the NCAA team gets it right. They seem to actually be focusing on things that matter, instead of adding useless features(Season ... Read More

While I anxiously await NCAA Football 10 to come out...I thought I should write about my experience with NCAA Football.
I have played since '99. I have stood behind EA the past several years defending them despite some of the major bugs, glitches, etc. I get NCAA every year regardless, because I love college football and this game fulfills my needs. (plus EA has the exclusive license)
Here's my point: Next gen NCAA football has visually met my expectations, but thats not what a good ... Read More
