Baton Rouge(AP)- Home sweet home for the Tigers. They put on a show for the home crowd blowing away the FCS Southeast Rattlesnakes. Everybody knew LSU were going to destroy the team. Ridley the Tigers running back ran all over them carrying the load for the team. He finished the night with 191 rushing yards and a touchdown. "We went out and executed, we didn't take this team for granted and we played tonight like it was a national championship game".Said by Les Miles. The Tigers defense again forced turnovers and created havoc for the opposing quarterback. Another great performance was by the QB Jordan Jefferson who threw 3 touchdowns on the day. Next up for the Tigers is Cam Newton and his #15 Tigers.

Tallahassee(AP)- The "Swamp" suffered another conference lost this weekend thanks to the Tigers. The Florida defense didn't have a answer for the Junior Quarterback Jefferson. He made the defense look like fools he completed 14 passes and threw for 419 yards that included 4 TD throws. The Gators offense had their problems on their on turning the ball over 5 times to the Tigers defense, which took advantage of them and set up the offense in good field position. The Tigers are looking like a team that can't be stop. Just ask the Gators what happened to them.

Baton Rouge(AP)- RIDLY, RIDLY, RIDLY!!!! That was all you heard throughout "Death Valley" as it stormed. Ridley the Tigers running back created havoc for the Volunteers the whole day. He rushed for 190 yards on 28 carries as he carried the Tigers into another impressive victory over a conference foe. "I give all the credit to the OL and Coach Miles for giving me the opportunity to show my talents on the field today and lead the team to victory". said Ridley. If he wasn't going up the middle he was bouncing it to the outside and gaining huge chunks of yards. The Vols defense did a good job of shutting down the passing game with only one touchdown throw to WR:R. Randle. The defense was spectacular once again and proved why they are the number 1 defense in the nation. The defense forced 3 turnovers on the Vols and CB:T. Mathieu had another game where he returned a pick for 6. LSU season is off to a good start but can they keep the momentum during the rest of their conference games?

Defense again forced a sack, one of five sacks on the day.

Baton Rouge(AP)- Well its official the Tigers are on fire after destroying the #20 Mountaineers. Every play was dominated by LSU and the Mountaineers had no answer for the Tigers. The game was close in the first quarter, but after that the Tigers ran away with it. "Wow did this really happened? I mean we got dominated on every side of the ball and I got out coached by Les Miles, this LSU team is a freight train and we just got hit by it" Said the Mountaineers coach. The Tigers defense forced 5 turnovers. CB P. Peterson had a monster game racking up 11 total tackles, 1 int, 1 FF, and returned the pick for a 6. "I just went out like an animal like my coaches been telling me and I dominated today game and other defense players stepped up today" said by CB P. Peterson.

Key Freshmen is T. Mathieu: Had a pick 6 on in the game that killed WVU drive. On the season he had 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 int for a TD, and caused 2 fumbles and recovered both.

Tennessee(AP)- LSU was the favorites and left the favorites as they thrashed Vanderbilt. LSU was on fire and they gave there second shutout of the young season. LSU offense compared to Vandy's was like a pop warner team vs a national high school power house as LSU out gained Vandy 394 to 149. LSU offense is looking better and better by each week. Jordan Jefferson had to say this about the Tigers defense "Our defense are wrecking havoc out there on the field and is helping the offense big time". The defense didn't force as many turnovers but the one they did was huge. DE C.Aghayere smashed the running back and out of nowhere there was CB Patrick Peterson there to scoop up the fumble and run it in for a score. LSU notches a win in conference and is looking forward to next week opponent Miss St.

Defense Lead The Charge As LSU Destroys North Carolina

Baton Rouge(AP)- Is this the beginning of unstoppable LSU team? well maybe not but LSU surprised everybody by stomping all on North Carolina for the first game of the season. I never seen a LSU game so hyped even Les Miles was chest bumping his players. The play of the offense was perfectly executed thanks to a powerful running game and a tremendous game by quarterback Jordan Jefferson,but the night belong to the defense that caused 8 turnovers did i say 8. The defense was flying all across the field and made plays non-stop. If the defense play like this every Saturday LSU is on its way back to the top like it was in 2003 and 2007.

Baton Rouge(AP)- Well it's that time again to start the tailgating and BBQ grills going cause LSU football is in the air. The tigers are looking to get back in the hunt for a national championship after a somewhat disappointed season last year. Les Miles is confident that this team is better than the 2007 national team." If i had to pick between this team and the national title team i would pick this year team" quoted by Les Miles. The tigers are projected third in the SEC which is the best and hardest conference in the country. Junior CB Patrick Peterson is the corner stone of the defense. "The old saying goes offense score points and defense wins championship well this year we are going to score some points to" Patrick Peterson said with a chuckle. On offense the Junior quarterback Jordan Jefferson hopes to lead his offense which last year he struggle with. Only time will tell but LSU is going to make noise in the SEC and on the national stage.
