My only issue is people who make user mistakes during the game, then say the game needs to be fixed.

Sorry to say that, but there are hardly any user mistakes there. The game forces turnovers on you, it's called momentum shifting/clutch moments. It helps CPU/opponent like handicap does on FIFA. Suddenly your passes go astray (even with players who have A+ rating in passing cannot pass 2-5 meters away from them?), missing open layups/dunks, missing wide open 3s despite green release (it happened to me many times which is surprising as I heard... Green releases should go in all the time).
This game is broken. Instead of fixing the gameplay issues and broken defensive AI, removing clutch/momentum to make it truly e-Sports ready title, they go for FitBit integration, adding stupid boosts to players when you complete the 10k steps milestone. WTF is that sh8?
I seriously wish Live 17 turns out good as lost hope in 2k and their NBA. Monopoly on NBA market ruined them.

If the game is as terrible as everyone keeps saying it is now, then will continue to buy the game? Don't say "Well theres no other basketball game.." Stop. You all have a choice and should use it. If company is selling you a product that you all deem a lost hope, then stop playing and supporting their product. Its very simple. Otherwise , why continue to buy a product you complain about? I'm not going to keep going to a restaurant with bad food

i especially love how you can't get around your defender and when you do the CPU will bump you, which then will cause the great animation of losing body control and it's a turnover or you pick up your dribble. Keep it realistic 2K!

The shooting is something I'm always skeptical about. Maybe it's sour grapes on my part, but I just feel like the CPU routinely makes shots that I never seem to make, and I've absolutely seen my guys start bricking layups and wide open Js when I have a decent lead. It just feels scripted.
My favorite by far though is the way my player struggles so hard to lean over and pick up the ball when it's loose on the ground, while the CPU defenders snatch it up in a nanosecond and they're off to the races. Happens multiple times every game, like clockwork.

I was up on the rockets by 10 going into the 4th quarter, and ended up losing by 12...a 22 point swing...was one of the most annoying games. I used several time outs and only shot wide open catch and shoot 3's but not one fell...which was only 3 attempts. What really gets me...is 98% of the layups or shots that draw fouls never go in. But if you foul, the CPU makes the bucket 99% of the time. Not to mention every lucky bounce they get.
The game graphically is great, there is so much potential but they have to stop playing with the damn shot meter and the reases. People talking garbage and saying they want NBA live need to go back and play any of the previous live games....they're pure sh8, and never even compared to what 2K does.
I think they're in the right path with the shooting, I like using the shot stick and having the potential for error and missing but damn the green release thing needs to be figured out. If you release it perfectly then it should go in, just get rid of shot animations that are too easy.
Dunno, in my opinion the myPlayer and myPark are messing up the regular game aspect, everything's is catering to that and it changes the offline and normal gameplay for the worse.
