What a month it's been! It all started when I decided that Dontrell Willis' pitching motion was to long and it kept me from being as accurate in hitting the mark as I needed to be. I went to go edit his motion (Thank You SCEA) looking for Roger Clemens' motion. (Say what you will about roids I'm 27 he was dominant growing up) Well it wasn't there so I settled on generic 18. Then I though about who else was a dominate RHP I watched growing up. Pedro Martinez. So I changed my glove color from ... Read More

So first my apologies. This update will only have two games not the usual 4. I had take an week off of work for the release of MLB 09. I do the same thing for NCAA usually. Well I'm back at work and that means I have a little less time during the day. But enough of that. Here is what you came for.
My 15th start was the worst start ever. How bad you ask. This bad. Lead off batter hits a one hopper to the short stop. He fields and promptly fires the ball over the first basemen's ... Read More

After a terrible stretch that saw Rich Robinson go 1-4 with a 5.13 ERA in May. I focused and decided that I needed to really pay attention to what I was doing on the bump. This isn't AA ball anymore and I want to make it to the show. Besides I'm pitching in that Nationals organization how hard could it be? With a new focus on handling lefties and a new drive to get my numbers respectable again we entered June.

Like the title says. May was a very difficult month for Rich Robinson and his quest to pitch in the big leagues. How bad was it. I didn't get a win in the month, not only not a win but I took 4 losses! That isn't a misprint I was 1-4 in the month of May. My ERA for the month of May was a large and ugly 5.18! Yeah, I couldn't get a break. The umps were squeezing me and I was getting blasted. I think I gave up 4 or 5 homeruns. It also doesn't help that the offense has pretty much left me ... Read More

Well after a hot start I have returned to my normal level of up and down performances. Again it seems that I am going to keep struggling against lefties. They are currently hitting a touch over .300 against me. But that isn't how things started. I was able to get to 3-0 by beating the Iron Pigs again. I was able to help my self in this one with the stick. I was also able to go 7 strong only giving up 2 earned runs and K'ing 5.

Well I've bounced back from the dejection of not getting an invite to spring training with the big club, but I used that as motivation to get to the show this year. My first start was a productive one. Went 7 strong innings giving up 7 hits and 1 earned run. Felt good to get the first win of the season in my first start and it was a quality start. So far so good. Next start will be against those pesky Iron Pigs.

Well Blygilmore had a good idea in the RTTS thread http://www.operationsports.com/forums/scea-sports-mlb/298266-mlb-09-road-show-thread.html. So I will use my blog to keep people who want to follow updated on my progress as a starting pitching prospect with the Washington Nationals.
First I was always a Nats prospect. I created my self as a 6'2" 225 lbs RHP SP prospect. I had a 4 seam fastball, Change-up and a slurve. (the pitches that I know that I can throw. My slurve is because ... Read More

As some may know I ride submarines in the U.S. Navy. Last year I was deployed for almost the entire football season. That isn't a big deal. I signed up to defend my country and freedom isn't free. Men and women like myself make sure that bill is payed everyday here and abroad. We do it because we want to, not have to. That is the beauty of an all volunteer military. You choose to be there. But I digress. It was during the missed football season that a member of my favorite team the Washington ... Read More

So through OS I met a group of pretty cool guys that play a fairly straight up game of NCAA and we started a dynasty. It's been fun and I figured what better way to write my first OS blog than to pump up our blog site, which has links to the various forums that we also have. So here is the address. Check it out. We are in year 3.
Oh and if you are a PS3 guy and have a wish to join we have two opening, preferably you take a Pac-10 or Big 11 team. But whatever.
