Well after a hot start I have returned to my normal level of up and down performances. Again it seems that I am going to keep struggling against lefties. They are currently hitting a touch over .300 against me. But that isn't how things started. I was able to get to 3-0 by beating the Iron Pigs again. I was able to help my self in this one with the stick. I was also able to go 7 strong only giving up 2 earned runs and K'ing 5.

I was 3-0 and feeling good. Looking to maybe move up in the rotation if not the organization. 4th start was a pitchers duel all the way and did nothing to shatter that confidence. Went 6 innings giving up 3 hit and 1 run. I would not factor in the decision. As you can see this was a nail bitter that was lost in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs.

There was a nice defensive play this game that help limit the damage and keep our team in the game.

Going into my 5th start things got a little rocky. Facing the Yankees of Scranton-Wilkes-Barre I was roughed up a bit giving up 3 runs in 5 innings of work. I would take my first loss on the young season as the team went down 7-3. We would also lose 3 of the 4 games in this mid-week series. Perhaps it was the fact that Dwight Schrute was there needling us that cause the nose dive. Who knows.
First Loss

As you can see the ERA, WHIP and BA against are starting to climb. It's looking more and more like a cut fastball or even a screwball will be needed to be added as lefties are causing me fits.

I've got one more image available so lets go to the 6th start. The dreaded Durham Bulls, seeing how this team has seem to give me problems from the first time I faced them at AAA and they have a nice compliment of lefties it should be no suprise that I struggled and would get a no decision despite giving my team 6 solid innings of work only allowing 2 ER's and sitting down 6 on my own. I turned this game over to the bull pen and they promptly ensured that this game would go extras and we would lose this as well 9-6 in 11.
6th Start of the year.

So as it stand currently I'm 3-1 with a 2.39 ERA with 22 K's and 37 hit surrendered in 37.2 innings pitched. WHIP is flirting with getting below 1 at 1.09 and teams are hitting .259 against me. Things are looking pretty good right now.
