I have almost completed my first PGA Tour season in Tiger Woods 10's career mode for Xbox 360. And I have to say, the flaws in this game lie in this mode.
First off, Tiger Woods is an absolute monster in career mode. He has won more than 10 events so far (despite taking a few weekends off), has a 5,000+ point lead in the FedEx Cup rankings, and shot a ridiculous -42 at Torrey Pines to win the San Diego Tournament.
This leads to issue No.2 with TW 10's career mode...scores are way too low. Tiger won the first FedEx Cup 'playoff' event @ Bethpage in my season with a -40. Other scores range from -18 to -38. Anthony Kim won golf's ultimate test, the US Open, with a score of -29. I was even cut from the season's last major @ Hazeltine after shooting -6 after the second round! The cut line was at -7! Simply crazy.
Now I play Tour Pro difficulty, the hardest available, so winning any of these events is almost out of the question. And I don't want to have to shoot -40 to win an event by turning on Pro difficulty and using power boost and spin control.
All I ask for is realistic scoring in a game that touts itself as a golf SIMULATION.

-42!!! I don't even think that's possible in real life. What did he do hit 18 hole in ones?

These scores are for four-day tournaments by the way...so Tiger was essentially scoring in the 50s for four straight days.
