The Saints weren’t supposed to lose their first two games.

After an offseason of turmoil, the Saints were supposed to be motivated by Bounty Gate. The Saints were “supposed” to be the 07 Patriots 2.0, a team ridiculed by scandal that went 16-0. They were supposed to stick it to Roger Goddell.

Give Pete Carroll credit, he stuck to his word that each job had to be earned. Now following months of battling expected starter Matt Flynn, Russell Wilson has been named as the starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks.
