SEASONAL RECAP
An incredible overturn of fortunes for the Magic after the All-star break. 20-4 since then and, incredibly, the Magic actually managed to improve their record from the last, title-winning season. Before that the Magic fans were probably not even hoping for the winning record. But the big trade that sent Jameer Nelson and VC to Phoenix for Steve Nash and Hedo Turkoglu has completely turned things around. In Nash the Magic found a key part of the team which was necessary, if the rookie back-up point guard Alexander Paul was to learn all the key aspects of the point guard position. Turkoglu was not the best acquisition, perhaps, and now is not even in the Starting 5. But this helped Q Rich to find his rhythm. He waited patiently for his opportunity, whilst sitting on the bench and practicing, and now is a key part of the Magic's game-plan. With a 5-game win streak the Magic are fully prepared for the play-offs either against the Bucks or the Bulls.
