WEEKLY RECAP
A tough week for the Hawks. Not just because of the results, but also because of the influence that this week could carry on further. The Hawks lost two first-liners, two Patricks. Kane is out for 8 weeks with a bruised sternum, whilst Sharp will be back after 3 weeks because of his pulled groin. A very tough break, and it undoubtedly cost the Hawks points this week. But this also gives a chance for the younger players to step up and make big plays. Christopher DiDomenico, Rob Klinkhammer and Jeremy Morin have been utilized in the roster already. It should be an interesting couple of weeks just because of the youth that has flown in the team because of the injuries. Nevertheless, the loss of Kane and Sharp has hit the team hard.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Despite the injury, Patrick Kane becomes the player of the week this time. During the first three games (He got injured in the third game of the week) he earned 4 points(3 goals and 1 assist). He played very well up to this point, and that just makes losing him for 8 weeks that much more devastating.
