Game notes: In an exciting final game of the homestand, the Dodgers came away victorious in 10 innings against San Diego. Using a re-vamped lineup that was hinted at after the game yesterday, the home town heroes were still only able to get 5 hits to fall, but they were important ones. Chris Capuano pitched well, but was pulled after letting two runners on base in the 8th. He also drove in the first run of the game on a groundout in the 6th. After the Juan Guerra gave up the tying run in the 9th, Andre Ethier led off the bottom of the 10th with a line drive to shallow left field that Justin Hermidia's dive failed to come up with. The ball rolled all the way to the wall, allowing Ethier to slide into home plate just ahead of the tag for a walk-off inside-the-park home run. Mark Ellis left the game in the 4th inning after straining his left forearm. He is currently day-to-day.
