The Red Sox struggled again as they fell to the Rangers 3-1 in the second game of the 3 game series. Lackey scattered 9 hits and gave up 3 runs in 7 and a third, but dropped to 0-1 due to a lack of run support from the Boston offense. The Sox only run came off of the bat of Adrian Gonzalez with his solo shot in the top of the 9th, but it was too little too late. The series will come to a close with Clay Buchholz looking to stop the Red Sox skid against Derek Holland.

The Sox kicked off the season in Texas with a lackluster performance that saw them bang out just 5 hits and only managed one run, coming off of a solo shot my Youk. Lester went 5.2 giving up 3 runs on 7 hits and walking 4 while striking out 5.
Just trying this out, I'll see how it goes and maybe end up running my full dynasty on here. I'm planning on alternating games throughout the season. I'll pitch one game, bat one game, then play a full game. I will however play out both sides when I play division opponents.
I'm playing as the Red Sox, but making them my own by putting Dice K and Scuttaro on the block and bringing up Doubront and Iglesias to start the season. I'll post up a recap in a bit after I finish game one of the season! Here is my depth chart:
