April Showers...

The month of April has come to a close, and the May flowers are still yet to come(At least in Washington State). Baseball is now officially back; from game-winning grand salamis to the butt-end of a perfect game, the Mariners went through an exciting, although exasperating April.

Do I still believe the Mariners are a good team? Of course! Good teams have to go through some rough trials to be good...

My other baseball team, the Dodgers, have been rolling. Spot cozily on top of the NL West with a 17-8 record, the new ownership finally taking over, and Kemp out to prove the MVP voters wrong, the baseball power has returned to LA. This season has really kicked off to a charm; and I'm interested if the Dodgers will continue their roll through May and the rest of the season.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there's the Angels of Anaheim. I already wrote about their new main-man, but MAN, what a tough April for a team projected to knock the Rangers off the top of the AL West. They finished the month strong, and kicked off the new month with a bang! (Congrats to Mr. Weaver!

) With my M's getting swept by the Rays, Angels are on the rise! Expect them to be up with the Rangers at the end of the month! The offense is beginning to click, the pitching is there, but will the consistency stick with them long enough to pull a winning streak?

Who will be the best in the West at the end of May (NL and AL)?
