Increasing NCAA Roster Size!

I know the EA guys have done a fantastic job this year with NCAA Football...but I'm still waiting for the 85 player roster limit.

I'm hoping there's a way that we OSers can all get together on one issue per year, and (politely) bombard EA with making sure that improvement makes it into next years game.

My candidate for next year's game is an 85 player scholarship limit, with a "real" player limit at 95 so that walk-ons can walk-on and not take a scholarship spot, just like in real life. I know this is a complicated measure (I'm not a developer) and that it doesn't improve the experience for the casual gamer in any way, shape, or form, but a community like OS has more die-hards than casual fans anyway, and if we can show EA that we die-hards want a certain item I think we might get it.

I think EA will definitely be adding the whole conference expansion thing next year, and that the system of switching conferences and stuff will be a big item (maybe even Create-A-Conference? That would be cool.), so I don't want to waste our time advocating for that. I also know they're going to think play improvements are a priority, because the feel of the game can always be tweaked and that's what draws casual fans and creates a larger market share for the game.

I do know, however, that as die-hards, we all know other die-hards who have jumped off the EA bandwagon because the game isn't real enough, and that there's a serious lack of younger die-hards in the 12-18 year old range compared to when football games first started including offseason stuff and people went nuts for it.

So essentially, we need to band together and get an increased scholarship limit, as well as having walk-on players not count towards that 85 limit (and I understand having those 10 spots might be boring to some folks, but it would be really fun to play with a school like Nebraska and get 10 walk ons and feel the history and nostalgia that would come with that).
