Game Notes
NOTRE DAME -Cierre Wood is second in rushing in the NCAA. He is number one in rushing touchdowns with nine. Expect to see a lot of Wood. -Irish defense hopes to build off strong defensive performance against Purdue. Air Force is a running team and that will have to be Bob Diaco's first concern. -Freshman Everett Golson will get the nod at quarterback. It will be his first career start. AIR FORCE -Running back Asher Clark will need to have a big game for the Air Force to have a chance. He is their most dynamic player. -The Air Force defense has played well this year, but against weaker competition. Although, they did lose a close one against #6 ranked TCU.
