1. MLB 2k10 - Since I am a 360 guy I do not have the show, but unlike many I found this game really enjoyable. Of course there are a bunch of things wrong with it, but I played this game for months without getting bored. I played one game of every series for the Baltimore Orioles for three years which is a lot of games if you didn't already know. Hopefully the game will improve for next Spring.
2. NBA 2k11 - This game truly is amazing, but since I have only gotten a few weeks to play it for me it has not surpassed MLB 2k10. This game is the best basketball game ever made and quite possibly the deepest game ever made. You know its deep when you play association mode and it takes you two weeks just to go through all the menus. The My Player is also the best of all the 2k games so far and beats of MLB's mode.
3. NHL 11 - I don't play hockey and only watch my home team the Bruins once or twice a week, but this game never gets old especially when playing someone on Live or one of your friends. I do not get into the Dynasty Mode on this game like others, but this game is a blast.
4. Fifa World Cup 10 - This game was a good time especially during the World Cup, but even now if someone asks me to play this game I say yes because of the great graphics and easy to learn controls.
5. NCAA Football 11 - This game has certainly improved through its graphics and souped up gameplay, but still disappoints in the long run with annoying recruiting and a Dynasty Mode that makes a Auburn v. Tulane game feel the same as a Auburn v. Oregon National Championship game. The ESPN integration was really good, but the RTG mode is awful.
Madden 11 and TW 11 are both games I enjoyed, but it just seems EA's laziness and lack of detail has caused me to get bored of these games quick, especially TW. Maybe its time to either move on from Tiger Woods and make the game more of a PGA sim or just drop the whole series together. It is truly a shame because I am an avid golfer and I just cannot bare to play this game for more than two hours without getting frustrated and bored. 2k should make a golf game because it would blow EA's effort out of the water.

I...uh...think he does, yeah. I mean, I can't be sure, but if I read the title, I would wager a bet that he does, in fact call these, his "2010 Top 5 Games".
Anyway, with that out of the way, I like the list. Nice write-ups. I can't agree with it 100%, but I love reading other people's top lists of the year. Nice job.

Yeah they are my personal top 5 sports games of 2010. I dont expect anyone to agree with them, but thats basically in the order of how much I played them with the exception of College Hoops 2k8 which is still my favorite game of all time.

Everyone has their opinions and favourite games. I don't really like MLB 2K10, but like I said, it's just opinions.
