Let me get this out of the way first: I anxiously read every update that the Madden bloggers have been posting. And some of what they're saying sounds really nice, if it turns out as I hope it does.

It's time for Big Ben to get a little more respect

Now, I'm not saying that Ben Roethlisberger is constantly being dissed by the media or that he regularly tops the "Most overrated QB in the NFL list" (except maybe in the occasional OS poll), but in listening to some of the Super Bowl postmortem analysis, it's clear to me that some people just need to get over the fact that Ben is one of the elite QBs in the game today.
