If you're like me and a fan of sim-style sports gaming, you may have practically wet yourself at the news that MLB '09 the show was including all sorts of roster goodies like the 40-man roster and Rule 5 drafts that haven't seen the light of day since the days of All Star Baseball. Just because there aren't enough of them yet

Because I'm impatient, I simply updated the rosters with whatever update was available yesterday evening and launched into a full-blown franchise with the lowly Pirates. I played one spring training game against the Phillies and promptly got my butt kicked. 1. Beyonce must write a song about how she's 58 and still single because she's too damn picky and full of herself. Single Ladies has to be one of the most obnoxious songs I've heard in a long time.

Recently, in a stunning display of total partisanship, all but three Republican members of Congress voted against the Obama Administration's economic stimulus package. Whether this was a toeing the line by those members, simple obstruction, or legitimate votes against because of differences in philosophy is irrelevant. They can vote however they want to.
