Where are they now?
Posted on February 8, 2016 at 03:34 PM.
I'm probably one of the few that's still using NBA 2k14 for xbox360 due to Vlad's incredible Reditor program. Which, I feel was a great thing and not so great. It allowed us to personalize the game with some limitations. But, it also opened the door to those same limitations on 2k's part and a vague understanding as to why. I've been reading posts regarding NBA 2k16 and thinking is it worth purchasing 2k16 and went out on a limb and bought it anyway for $40. After playing it, I basically feel it was like playing 2k14 all over again. I was looking for that excitement in the gameplay that I've read some were having, Nope seemed the same to me! CPU vs CPU looked like PG domination, PG holds the ball and drives for the shot first. Maybe I needed to do some slider tweaks? The classic teams were downgraded and I didn't even bother with the Euro teams when I saw all of the generic players they had. So, here I am with a game I'm either gonna put away with disappointment or settle and wait, conditioning myself in believing 2k will do what? I believe the majority on here have sacrificed paying big bucks to get a Xbox1 or PS4 to get what was advertised as the Next generation. If it has to come to spending more to get the best out of the game then my priority list doesn't support the spending right away if at all. I appreciate the forum community and those past roster creators, where are they now? Is it due to editing ability, interest, creativity? Yeah, I'm limited to xbox360 and that's done with. But I have to say what I am able to create on it vs what I've seen on xbox1, seems I'm still getting more than what spending more would get me. There is one person I've seen on the forum that is unbelievable in player creation and many even posted on here that he should be hired by 2k. But that's one person vs the many I've been accustomed with in the past. Your thoughts are welcomed.
