The Redskins have release LB Robert Henson. Entering his third season he was hoping to fight for the starting ILB spot opposite London Fletcher, but he was placed on the PUP list to start training camp. Also, he started behind second-year linebacker Perry Riley on the depth chart. Then the team re-signed Rocky McIntosh.
After all of these moves, Henson was on the bubble and his injury certainly held him back.
